Our Mission

Nyasha’s Promise was founded on the belief that every woman is deserving of  basic necessities and that they should be available to anyone embarking on that journey. This initiative is designed to provide items, education and bridge the gap for resources by connecting to local community partners. Through a celebratory shower we provide a safe space for a mom to be showered in gifts and a baby to be welcomed in love. 

 

 It costs roughly $15,000- $17,000 at minimum a year to provide for a child and these women don’t have access to a quarter of the amount of resources and products as a non-sheltered mother does. Constant hardships because of their lack of housing is their reality. We want to propose a new one.  

 

Every woman deserves a shower, but every woman needs a community. It takes a village to raise a child and we ask that you be a part of theirs.
